Life is Precious
A while ago I shot a wedding for a couple who are in Ohio…fantastic wedding. She recently emailed me a picture that i took of a little girl at her reception and asked if i had taken any more of her. Her little body got a virus and couldn’t handle it and she passed away, and these pictures of her were the last ones taken.
Really hit me hard
How fragile our lives are! how intense life can turn at the drop of a pin. I thought of Cooper asleep in his bed and thanked God that he was safe and healthy. My prayers have been with this girls parents since this email ~ i pray that they are coping with this loss as best they can! I pray that new blessings will come pouring in their windows.
And on top of this i pray that we will love our children just a little bit more daily, hold them each chance we get…not let a moment slip by with out being happy that they are here. I pray that we will play with them more, snuggle then dearly, and laugh with them! Play make believe with them and thank God every second for the chance to be their mommies and Daddies…what a perfect blessing it is to be a parent. Let us never squander it.
