Photo of the week and its recipe
this picture took a lot of strength, lol. we went hot tubbing with some friends till around 930 PM and it was soooo cold when i decided to try and shoot through the steam that the water around the tub was frozen on the ground! it took a few trys before i gave up and got back into the tub to heat back up… my hands were BURNING! but once warm i realized i needed to slow down the speed! so i jumped out and Ian posed for me and i got what i was looking for! i love all the noise that the steam creates!
ok, recipe: (starting with a HOOOOOT tub)
shot on my nikon d300 and my a prime lens 50 1.4 ( i will explain prime lens later)
80/sec still pretty sharp for being slow!
1.4 f stop
iso 2000
the high iso also created some of the noise, but not as much as the steam did! all the little drops of water really bounced light at me!
this is a cool picture I can see the noise you are talking about. brr cold I would have stayed in the hot tub!
