photo of the week ~ olive fingers…
this is sooooo fun! every child does this right? tonight at dinner we had pasta and a jar of olives…cooper immediately became an olive fingered monster! i ran and got the camera and shot these two shots. this one was shot on the nikon d300 50mm prime lens at 160/second at f stop 1.4 (the f stop is why the image is blurry in the background.) I shot this with my speed light bouncing off the ceiling as well. the iso was at 2500 because i forgot to even check it. (pain and narcotic pain killers at work there, lol.)
this one was the same speed light at work same lens just bumped the f stop to 1.8 so that more was in focus than just his olives…but not much more, i wanted to see his little face and olives so it was a small focal range. i think it worked well. had i remembered to lower my iso they wouldn’t be grainy but i really don’t mind it much!

You should have taken a picture with Cooper doing the sign language for i love you…and then called the picture “Olive you!”
