Coopers story about Jesus
Here is a conversation Cooper and his friend had in the car as i listened…
Listening to scripture scouts it was at a part where jesus was talking inviting people to touch his hands and feet
Friend: thats funny!
Cooper: No its not funny! see, jesus has holes in his hands and his feet cus he was stapled to a pole, nailed to a cross la (her nick-name)
La: oh…
Cooper:Yeah! He died for us on the cross there and then he had holes and marks in his hands and feet. and did you know he was resurrected and went up into heaven alive again? and someday he will come back to earth and walk around and people will run up to him and touch his hands and feet and kiss him and give him big hugs and say things like “Thanks for dying for me!” and things like that!
La: oh…
and at this point a new song started and he was into singing…and i was choking on tears. what a boy!
wow! Cooper has an amazing grasp on life, doesn’t he? Love that kid!
