Happy birthday self

This is my thirtieth birthday.

At the beginning of the week i was frantic that i was not entering my thirties gracefully. Here i am. i feel graceful inside although my hair is not done, cooper is in the bath, its almost noon and i’m still in my jammies. Not to mention that the house is not that clean! lol ~ but none the less i have everything that i ever wanted…time to count my blessings:

i great man that loves and supports me. He lets me do these charitable endeavors even though he knows that he will have to pick me up after for i usually spread myself quite thin. He lets me do whatever comes into mind. He is a great leader of our family. He is a great father, hubby, boyfriend and best friend.

/my son is one in a million, if you think yours is…you might be wrong. lol. he is fantastic. he planned on his own…(jon told me) to surprise me with “the best birthday ever” and he did! i woke up to breakfast just off the stove and a decorated house…birthday chocolate and 2 singing boys! he is the best. he is eager to adopt a boy and is as much a part of our adoption as any child can be~!

My family is great. Matty, Joshy, Micah katie and all their families as well! thanks!

i get to bless the lives of 300 children and their families this summer! (note to anyone who thinks you need to be told what to do to help others ~ just GET OUT AND DO SOMETHING!) I am totally geeking about this opportunity to help out flashes of hope!!!! I have wanted this for ever and ever! i am thrilled that they have given me this opportunity to be a chapter manager. and here i am BARELY 30 years old and ready to change the world! When i think about the possibilities that i have with this photo adventure i feel soooo blessed. not only to have a healthy family but to be able to bless those who have been given these illness’ and challenges. /when i told my daddy about this new adventure he asked me what do i get out of it? and i smiled and said “everything” i am really thrilled that my father in heaven has given me this talent and blessing. I am thankful that he blessed me with the courage to use it as well. (don’t get me wrong i am shaking in my boot…well i would be had i any boots. ~ ok, snowboarding boots!) But it will be such a success!

Anyway ~ the point is that i am happy, and i am entering my thirties as gracefully as i can!

that is: cleaning dishes, doing laundry, laughing with my child having balloon fights, cooking dinner, waiting for jon to get home from work, going to bed too late, reading my scriptures, writing in my journal, playing halo with master chief, taking my wonderful dog for walks and playing catch with him, taking showers at 2 pm…teethe, and having a blast being alive!

thanks God for this fantastic world and so many blessings that i have to share with others~ happy thirtieth birthday self! you deserve it!
