5lb 5 oz of beautiful.
I shot this gals wedding about 2 years ago…then i shot her sisters wedding last year. The first wedding couple had a baby, i shot the baby rocko’s pictures. Then sister just had a baby…i JUST shot his. He was sooooo tiny!!!

The picture of his one little finger was shot on my nikond300 with my prime 50 lens at iso 100 and f1.4 at speed 125/sec That’s how the rich colors came about…the iso is as low as i can get it allowing rich colors and really sharp detail (only around where i focused, fingertips.) and the speed is allowing for the low light, i couldn’t go any slower because infants wiggle so much nor could i go faster for i would loose the light. the low f stop allows for deep light and a shallow depth of field…which causes you to focus only on the fingertips and also to blur up that background into the rich colors that i wanted to see. there is the photo tip of the week! thanks Shauna for allowing me to shoot this little miracle! (YOU MADE THAT!!!)

wow, that is beautiful. i love how you capture such amazing moments!
Words cannot describe how sacred a new baby is. You’ve done a great job capturing a glimpse of it with your camera. Well done!
